Picton Cabinetry & Entryway

The Vision: a stunning hillside Picton home overlooking the bay, we were asked to provide a modern doorslab, this was a fully engineered door to allow the look of horizontal T&G. Normally this is problematic with seasonal movement but an engineered shop cut veneer panel with solid wood inserts for v-grooving achieves a stable solution. Understandably the customer was interested to know if we could do more, so asked us to build vanities and built-in cabinetry. These were to be furniture grade with a bit of luxury, so black walnut dovetailed drawer boxes added some interior glam to the wall hung vanity and a freestanding black walnut vanity graced the guest suite, the two cabinets flanking the chimney breast added integrated and well proportioned storage for guests.
