Our Story & Approach
Finepoint was founded in 2011, by husband-and-wife team Jason and Yvette, but our journey began much earlier, 1990 in fact. Our history details over 35 years of unparalleled experience in the world of carpentry, across 3 different countries which has only deepened our passion for the craft.
Over the years, we have worked on a wide range of projects ,from detailed architectural features and custom doors to kitchens, built-ins, and commercial interiors. That breadth of experience has taught us how to approach each project thoughtfully, understanding that no two spaces, materials, or clients are ever the same.
We believe good woodworking starts with listening. Understanding how a space will be used, how it should feel, and what matters most to the client is just as important as the joinery itself. Technical skill is essential, but so is clear communication, reliability, and respect for timelines and budgets.
Wood is a natural material, and working with it requires patience and knowledge. It responds best to careful planning, proper technique, and attention to detail. With decades of hands-on experience, we know how to guide a project from concept to completion in a way that is both practical and considered.

Our Process
Every project begins with a conversation. We listen carefully to understand your needs, your space, and your priorities.
Using 3D renderings, we develop clear visual plans so you can see the design before production begins. This allows us to refine details and ensure everything is thoughtfully considered.
Once approved, our workshop team brings the design to life with precise craftsmanship and careful material selection. From concept through installation, we focus on quality, clear communication, and lasting results.
