Belleville Entryway

The Vision: the home had an existing door set built in a combination of materials, this had aged as one would expect, leading to a mismatch of patination which was not good.

The Materials: engineered mahogany construction throughout radiused laminations made up the top arch and the whole structure using heavy sections created a purposeful and substantial entryway. A bright interior was achieved with the significant amount of glass in the doorset, a graceful addition to the home that will gracefully age in place gathering the events of the lives passing through, to a rich and consistent patina.
