The Vision: very upscale project with a short lead time (6 weeks!) without a design concept, it also required zoned climate controlled wine storage as well as a significant volume capacity, possible with a 2 man team?

The Materials: naturally we wanted to harmonise material with the product so white oak was an obvious choice - rift sawn white oak provided a contemporary look with its linear grain. For production speed we utilised mitre fold techniques allowing us to be machining and finishing day one, integral to this was a designed in assembly system allowing us to reduce final assembly and install timings. Our use of concealed lighting provided added glamour to the space, and a heavy set of traditional style oak doors provided a stunning reveal moment to the space. This project could not have been achieved without cohesive design engineering and a manufacturing system that provided end to end solutions, which made this project on time and budget.
